Seats with extra space

The Thomsonfly fleet has a standard seat pitch of 28 inches (33 inches for long haul). But if that's not enough, you can upgrade to one of our seats with extra space.
Exclusively for adults, they’re next to an exit or by a bulkhead so you can really stretch out. There aren’t many though so get in there quick.

As our seats with extra space are located by the emergency exits, behind a ‘bulkhead’ or a dividing wall, in order to book one of these seats you must satisfy the following requirements.

Passengers choosing to sit in these seats must NOT be:

Under the age of 14 (passengers must be aged 14 and over for short haul flights, and aged between 20 and 65 for long haul flights)
Experiencing any medical conditions
Obese (passengers should be of a suitable size)
Disabled
Under the influence of alcohol
Pregnant
Responsible for an infant for the duration of the flight
Elderly or frail

In the opinion of the cabin crew, passengers must also have the strength and full mobility to open the Emergency Exit door. These regulations have been put in place by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and are for the safety of all passengers onboard. Unfortunately, anyone who does not meet these requirements cannot be accepted for these seats.

Please also be aware that due to our seat configurations, we cannot guarantee that parties of 3 or more will be seated together.

Premium shorthaul

Available on selected shorthaul flights, you'll get a dedicated cabin offering 37" seat-pitch, a delicious meal, and comfy leather chairs with adjustable headrest and footrest. Seatback entertainment and drinks are available at an extra cost.

Premium longhaul

A dedicated cabin offering 37" seat pitch, comfortable leather seats with adjustable headrest and footrest, seat back TV with touch-screen controls and a choice of movies, TV, games, and a CD collection. You’ll also get complimentary headphones, UK priority boarding, a 30-kilo luggage allowance and meals courtesy of top celebrity chef Aldo Zilli.

In-flight meals

Either pre-book a hot meal or choose from our range of snacks on board. There are plenty of dining options on offer – even a vegetarian and a healthy option. But if you don't fancy any of these, you can still buy snacks on board.
Meals are charged at £14 per adult (£7 each way) and £8 per child (£4 each way) for shorthaul, or £20 per adult (£10 each way) and £10 per child (£5 each way) for longhaul.
